Merry Christmas!

Garland has been busy in her first 3 weeks of life. We were in Birmingham for the holiday and were able to spend time with all our aunts and uncles, cousins, grand parents and great grand parents.  

BTW, my brother Daniel is marrying the amazing Jane Chambliss!!

Welcome to the world baby girl!
Frances "Garland" Drennen came into this world weighing 8lbs 15.7 ozs - 2lbs under her estimated ultrasound weight and measuring 20.5" long.  She's a strong  eater and an even better sleeper.  Mommy is recovering nicely from the csection and Daddy is in charge of all dirty diapers. Thank you to everyone for the well wishes. We'll be in the hospital until Monday morning and hope to see many of you very soon.

It's been too long

It seems much time has past since our last post and we have been busy!

Most recently we spent some relaxing time at Grayton Beach. The weather was perfect and Baby D seemed to like swimming in the ocean. We also were able to spend some quality time with Baby D's soon to be cousin - Amelia. She LOVES her Uncle Glenn - crys when he leaves the whole thing.

Before that we were in Birmingham for Liz Pharo's 30th Birthday Celebration.

And before that we (well, really Papa and Kit-Kat) gave some much needed attention to the nursery. Now, at least we have a crib for Baby D should he or she decide to drop in earlier than expected.

We only have 2 months left and Bridget and Baby D are both growing by the day - we'll post some more pictures soon!

Second Trimester

We are officially half way there. These are the latest ultrasound pics. We aren't finding out if its a boy or a girl but the Doc slipped in some hints!

The Doc said the "little rascal" was moving around and changing positions.
